Exercise doesn't have to be formal e.g. 1 hour at the gym, all movement counts.
Also a variety of exercise is more beneficial and there is less chance of injury than sticking to your same routine.
This is because your body & mind are challenged in different planes, at different speeds & using different muscles.
Repetitive actions such as gardening are a great time for mindfulness.
This is me mowing the lawn at our fitness & wellbeing retreat, the mowing and emptying the clippings was a new challenge for my mind and body!
