Heavenly hip stretch
Hip stretches are often forgotten but feel fabulous and improve your posture when walking or running so allowing for better technique & you will feel taller and stronger.
This posture combines a hip stretch with balance & strength work throughout the body.
Make sure your hips are square to the front and level with each other, your right buttocks (as in the photo) are tucked underneath you to lengthen & stretch the front of the right hip and your right heel is pushed into the ground. When warmed up try to hold this stretch for 30 seconds or do it dynamically ie: keep it moving & not as deeply if you are using it as a warm up.
