Exciting ways to have your 5 a day
A wide and seasonal (if possible) variety of fruit and vegetables is essential for good gut health and thus your overall health and wellbeing. Try to eat about 30 different fruit and vegetables which can include pulses, herbs etc per week and try to vary those types each week.
I find an easy way is to have a mixed salad or stir fry. Choose different fruit and veg at the shop or online shop (search fresh vegetables rather than your usual veg) and try out new recipes
Also as a bit more fun try some cocktails or mocktails with the whole fruit such as a passion fruit, orange or lemon with the flesh and the juice. Hurricane is our new favourite - thank you
