Autumn sunset walk through our field

Walking is a much underrated form of exercise but it is great for us both physically and mentally!

Short walks throughout the day will boost your metabolism and stretch out your body especially if you are desk bound for most of the day. Whilst you walk try to keep your thoughts in the present as this helps calm and clear your mind from what you have been doing that day and the tasks ahead.

For more of a challenge walk for longer, faster or add some hills or even some weather - a windy or rainy day make a walk more intense as does walking on a beach or through mud!
